HFTEK® DS112F Monitor desk mount stand holder bracket swivel tilt for monitor 15 to 27 inches with VESA 75/100 (DS112F Black)

I had tried a less expensive pair of gas-powered adjustable mounting brackets to position my Dell P2715Q 27-Inch Ultra HD 4K LCD Monitors which way 9.5 kilos each, and they simply weren't up to the job. But these HFTEK® GM112XF Monitor stands are more than man-enough. They are simply designed, very solidly built and well engineered, quick and easy to install, and after some very simple adjustment, hold my monitors steady, and exactly where I want them. And the detailed installation instruction actually make sense. Now everything is up off my desk and I have room to work again.

It was nice to find a monitor mount that could support my Acer Predator 28" 4K Monitor but... I have only given it 3 stars for the following reasons...1) When the monitor was attached to the arm, moving the arms became very difficult due to the weight on the arm. The swivel joints just did not want to swivel very easily. The little tightening screws have been taken out so it should swivel easily but doesn't. It does seem that it is the weight causing it not to swivel on the joints.2) Due to the very tight joints, the base, with the clamp done up as tight as possible, would move around on the desk causing damage to the desk (metal on wood). It would be nice to see HFTEK provide a rubber pad to stick under the metal to not only provide some grip on the desk but to also protect it in case the metal moves around. I have managed to resolve this myself by using some thin cardboard under the base. Now the base does not move when I try to move my monitor from side to side (it is still very stiff to move though as in point 1). Another manufacture does provide a rubber pad to stick under the metal base just for this reason.It is realtively simple to put together and it appears that with the tension screws, you could be turning for a very long time to adjust the tension. Luckily for me though, the height it is at is just right. It does take a little effort to get it alls etup just right but when you do, it works well with exception to the points above. Would recommend but with the above advise on minor flaws.

Do not hesitate to buy this monitor mount, very high quality.Had this product for years now and still really impressed!
