The media could not be loaded. Great wig stand for the money and VERY happy with it! I’m a wig stylist and have seen my fair share of stands. I had a previous version and it lasted 2 years. I’m happy to see that this newer version has some updates! Specifically, the metal “floor pedals” are now bolted in! :) The previous version was only mounted in with metal slots. The other update I loved, the plastic mechanism that holds the spindle ball, it now has clever grooves on the underside to help tighten the ball in the perfect position, without loosening the whole plastic house it altogether (previous version had a failed version of this). It’s wonderful!A helpful hint. I use (2) 1 gallon buckets filled with cement as weights on top of the foot pedals to hold everything to the ground.

I have tried 4 other stands, this one is lightweight, sturdy and the pieces at the top doesn’t flop around or need to be tightened extremely hard just to stay in position.

I really do like this stand it was a little complicated at first but now it has become an household item, i can hardly keep it in my room everyone uses it to do their mannequin heads to making their own wigs.

This wig stand is perfect! And the price is even better. If your a student or just someone who’s just starting out with making wigs this is perfect. It’s light weight easy to store away, adjustable and very sturdy!

These tripods (ordered one for a friend and myself) only lasted three weeks of cosmetology school (Monday-Thursday, 9:00AM - 3:30PM). The plastic feet on the legs of both tripods were broken when they arrived, one of the drawstring carry bags was ripped completely down the side, and the biggest problem was the top of the stand where the mannequin sits. It’s great that it is made of metal, but the piece encasing it is plastic. So the metal chewed into the plastic piece until it would not tighten enough to stop the ball from falling over every time we tried to use it. This happened on both tripods very quickly. I now have a Pivot Point tripod, and it’s awesome - definitely worth the price. This tripod, however, is garbage. Do not buy if you’re seriously wanting something that works and you won’t need to replace soon after purchasing. Hope this helps!

First off, when I received this package, it practically open and split in half when it came to my door. Loose nuts and bolts. I had to put together several pieces myself. It’s just crappy materials. I’m hoping the foot pedal will add security. If you’re short, this won’t be very convenient because it only goes so low. Most disappointing purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon.

The 3rd time I used use the locking mechanism that holds the pole in place broke off. Everything else works find the head lock works great unlike other tripods just sucks the pole doesn’t work I had to hot glue the pole up so I could keep using it
