A Truly Rich Tapestry of Modern Music
Kim is one of the best voices in modern music. And if you're a fan of Kim Walker and Jesus Culture then you might be wondering if the musical collaboration with her husband Skyler carries the same level of depth and power and previous releases. I can give you a resounding "Yes".Certainly this album goes in some different stylistic directions than typical Jesus Culture fare, but the Spirit is strong. Where Jesus Culture is a modern rock band similar to Cold Play, Skyler and Kim branch out with more acoustic flavors and seem to take influence from the modern folk rock revival and the minimalism movement. But it's hard to classify. You certainly wouldn't call this an acoustic or folk rock or minimalist album. Those are influences. What you have is a rich amalgam driven by musicality and passion for God. This is musical brilliance with depth.Present are strong and clever melodic and rhythmic ideas that keep you wanting more. Sophisticated and mature are words that come to mind but not in a flashy "look at me" way. The music serves the listener and the message.Pleasantly Skyler and Kim avoid the wall of sound which can quickly wear out the ear. Yet there is a nice movement from song to song between the meditative and the stimulating. It's hard to choose a favorite song because, if you're like me, that usually changes over time but I think you'll find "Relentless Love" to be one.Salud. Enjoy.

Home will be played in my home for years to come!
I instantly loved most of the songs on this new CD and after a few times through I loved the rest. The three that really stood out immediately are Christ the Rock, Unstoppable Love and Face to Face.Skylar and Kim are a great duo and deliver a CD that is truly about the worship of our King Jesus. I love that they have kept it relatively simple instrumentally. For the most part is has an unplugged feel and if you close your eyes while listening to the songs you could almost picture yourself at a home group where Skylar and Kim just happened to be leading worship. The songs are strong lyrically and have just the right amount of tension and release built in. This CD is different musically from other worship CD's Kim has released, but no less anointed or powerful. It will for sure be in the top picks for CD's to play on a weekly basis for years to come.Blessings to you Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Keep up the amazing song writing and worship that ushers in the presence of the King of kings. To everyone who is reading reviews before buying the CD do yourself a big favor and add it to your cart right now and checkout.*** Beware this CD does has some side effects. You may experience extended periods of peace, rest and joy. You may also find yourself singing the lyrics randomly or waking up with the songs already playing in your head. ***

Warm, exciting, God-honoring album
This album is nothing like a Jesus Culture one, and that's quite alright. I love hamburgers and fries, but I don't want to eat a hamburger and fries at every single meal, every single day. And so it's nice to mix things up a little. I mean, at the end of the day it's all about Jesus anyway, right? Anywho. Having been somewhat acquainted with Kim's voice through her Jesus Culture work I decided to take a chance on this album. Now, I honestly had no preconcieved notions or great expectations as to what this album SHOULD BE, but I must say I have been quite impressed and blessed by it. It is absolutely heart-felt, God-honoring and uplifting. There's enough of a mix of bluegrass and folksy pop that if you enjoy listening to any of the major mainstream Christian stations, you will love this album. I would recommend it to anyone who loves upbeat, and at times very introspective, soul-stirring worship songs. You won't regret it.

How do you follow "Still Believe?"
At first it sounded like Christian radio playing in the background - every so often a song comes along that you turn up. But it's growing on me. "Still Believe" by Kim is a hard act to follow and at first I only liked Kim's signature tracks: Relentless Pursuit, Christ the Rock, and Unstoppable Love. Then I began to see that there's two singing gifts & styles going on here - Skyler's more contemplative ballad style (I like: Your Voice & Face to Face) and Kim's fiery worship. Being a Celt import nothing compares to Kim's heart and voice for goosebump worship. I hope they now pursue their own singing styles. I'd buy the CD for the 3 signature tracks alone.

Love this album!!
I'm so excited about this album!! I love Kim Walker Smith, she's has such an anointing on her life. You can certainly feel it through her music. I absolutely love everything about this album. Through the Holy Spirit, these songs just reach out and grab you, right where you're at. All of your cares just melt away. The key is allowing the Holy Spirit to come and minister to you while you worship!! Invite Him in, He loves you so much and wants to invade your very being through worship. Kim Walker Smith and Skyler will help get you to the wonderful place of worship. I pray that you'll be ever so touched and changed. God bless

Better than I expected
I was a little wary of this album being that it was Kim's first studio album and her voice takes up so much space and is so epic in the live albums. I wondered if it would be too heavy for a studio album and if what they were going for was going to be too different for her listeners. I was happily mistaken. The vocalizations are beautiful and well controlled in this studio album, the lyrics are beautiful and she and Skyler compliment each other so well. I have this album on repeat in my home and car and definitely helps provide a soothing Christ centered atmosphere when it is played. Get it - you won't regret it.

MUST HAVE music!
I absolutely LOVE this CD. Some of the music is reminiscent of the sound so popular now that you hear from Mumford & Sons and the Lumineers, adding some bluegrass type sound. I absolutely love and my spirit resonates with the songs "Unstoppable Love, Christ the Rock, and Relentless Pursuit." The combination of Kim and Skyler's voices together is like butter, especially on the last song, "My One and Only." The entire CD is about our love story with Jesus, and how much He loves and pursues us, and how we find our Home in Him. My new favorite!

Superb!
Great worship album with a very slight country/singer songwriter feel. Both sing which gives a good balanced feel. Album not too long, only 30 odd minutes, but of the best quality of writing, production and songs before The Lord.
